Lighthouse Baptist Academy, a ministry of Garth Road Baptist Church, was founded out of a need to provide our church family and local community a place for a quality, solid Christian education.

Our principal, Bro. Steve Weatherly, has been in Christian education for approximately 20 years. He has taught from elementary through high school and has coached girl's volleyball, basketball and track. In addition, he has also coached boy's basketball and track.

He has a love for the children he teaches and coaches. He has an impeccable proven track record of character, integrity and fairness. Those whom he has taught praise him for his caring attitude and for instilling in them the biblical principles that are necessary to become successful in their future careers.
