New Auditorium 3

New Auditorium

Building Progress -- March 4th

What an exciting time we are in! We began Sunday School on March 7th and our first Sunday brought us 70 attendees! Wow! what a great start! One class has already outgrown their room and will meet in the Main Auditorium next week.

The buildings are filling up and we can see that power of God is strong. In February we were able to add several families to the church and baptized 12. We are on the move and are looking forward to our Sword of the Lord Conference in May.

Building Update -- October 12, 2009

We are making major progress on out new building. We are in the process of finishing the list of items that the Fire Marshall has given us to complete. Everyone is getting very excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel! We will keep you posted.

                                                              Building Update, July 11, 2009

Here is a picture of our new sign. It is very nice and we like that it tells us the time and temperature. The only drawback with the temperature is that it has been in triple digits for the past 3 weeks and it is a constant reminder of how hot it really is.
We are getting closer to the end, whenever that may be, there are no more projections. I think the GC is tired of setting dates that do not happen, what he doesn't know is that we are too!
Please, keep praying for us and keep checking back to see future updates. I do not think you will need one on the day they tell us that we can move in. You should hear the Hallelujah Chorus from around the world!

Building Update July 9, 2009

I updated the page back in June, but evidently it did not go through and now I am embarrassed that I have not checked in sooner. Technology is Great!!! I love it!!! (honestly I do)

The parking lot is in, the building is pretty much complete except for the area that the Fire Marshall wants redone.

Our new sign has been delivered and we have temporary power to it so that we can display messages on our LED message board.

I would include pictures, but yours truly has evidently lost his camera in all the move. I am headed to buy a new one, maybe this evening so that I can update the pictures. BTW, you can go the Photo Gallery and look at the progress that has been made, up to the point I lost my camera of course!

I will update again soon so that you can see what is happening.

Oh, I almost forgot! Nan and Gary are ORGAN FREE! We had a couple of young men from New Testament Pioneers that came last week and helped us greatly.

Carpet being put down in sanctuary.

The progress on the building has been steady, yet it is still incomplete. We are looking forward to the day that we have our Certificate of Occupancy and can move right on in and set up shop.
This week they have almost completed the parking lot and are finishing the carpet. On Tuesday, the Restroom partitions will be installed and the plumbing fixtures are soon to follow. We will be scheduling the piano mover to bring the piano that has been stored these 18 months at my nieces house and we will be bringing the organ that has been the security system at Gary and Nan's front door.
:0) We will soon be moving the rest of the furnishing and office equipment into the building. We are getting very close!
The Project Manager gave me a new move-in date, but I am keeping that day to myself so that we do not have any other disappointments. If you would like to see the parking lot, you may go to the Photo Gallery where I have uploaded them. It will be very nice when we get through!
